We are each on our own journey.
But isn’t it heartening when travelling to call at a friend’s house for a warming hot drink, or to have company on a bleak stretch of road?
That’s what Courageous Accountants is about.
Kinship. Soul-deep camaraderie.
Someone to nudge you with the right question if you feel stuck.
Someone to have your back without judgement when the going gets tough.
Answering the big questions in your life is hard enough, but doing it alone is even tougher.
There is so much to be gained by making discoveries as part of a group. Realising that others are asking themselves similar questions helps to foster courage and makes you realise you are not alone. This builds relational trust, which is central to building courage.
A great first step is to take part in an in-person or online Courageous Accountants Retreat, where you’ll meet others in the same boat and can build a community based on trust and mutual respect.
I wholeheartedly encourage the communities formed on retreat to keep in touch with one another to sustain you in your continued inner work.
