I needed to get away from my desk after work yesterday.

And I know my body well enough now to know that the thing I needed most was to get outside and into some Fenland weather.

My favourite walk is almost exactly 6K from start to finish.  3K there and 3K back.

It takes me just over an hour, which includes some sitting and thinking.

Last night was the full moon, named the Wolf Moon, and I must admit I felt an animal energy across the inky blue fields.

Back in October when I attended an event with Martin Shaw, he named three questions that he has been seeking to answer for himself.

They were so impactful that I have been reflecting on them too, particularly on my regular walks.

—What do you love?

—What does it cost?

—What are you willing to pay?

Big questions.

And certainly not easy to answer.

So, as is often the case with questions like these I am following Rilke’s advice:

“Live the questions for now.  Perhaps then you will gradually, without noticing it, live your way into the answer, one distant day in the future”.

I wonder, what questions are you living into?

Wishing you a lovely weekend.
